Story summary
In this family devotional from The Parable of The Persistent Widow, Bart repeatedly pesters Red to come with him to a sporting event. Joy reminds Red of the Parable, and Red realizes that even if Bart bothers him, God doesn’t get bothered by His children praying.

What Did We Learn?
- Jesus told a parable about a persistent widow to teach us to pray faithfully and never give up!
- If even an unjust judge eventually listened to the widow, how much more can we trust our loving Heavenly Father to hear us when we pray?
- God never gets tired of hearing from His children.
- We can bring Him our worries, our needs, and the people we care about, trusting that He knows what is best for us.
- He may not answer in the way we expect or as quickly as we would like, but we can always trust His goodness and love.
- So keep praying, keep trusting, and remember that we can come to our Heavenly Father through Jesus.
