#69: Jesus Shows Us Faithful Love - Save the Last Dance for Brushy - Proverbs 3:3-4
When Greybobby takes Brushy to the Valentine's Day dance, he quickly discovers how painful it can be to dance with a porcupine. When he talks behind Brushy's back, however, he learns that as painful as porcupine quills are, harsh words can hurt even more. He learns the lesson of Proverbs 3:3-4: "Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart.
So you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man."
Greybobby learns that faithfulness and love aren’t just about feelings— they’re about commitment, even when things are uncomfortable. Jesus shows us that love, and pursued us even when it was painful for Him and cost Him everything. He can give us that kind of love.
