Story summary
In this Bible lesson, a day at the county fair takes an unexpected turn as the Wonderwolves pull a massive prank. Through Uncle Greybilly’s quick thinking and wisdom, Greybobby and Betty learn that the Lord hates sin, but offers redemption through Jesus.
Proverbs 6:16-19
There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.
What did We Learn?
- We learned that there are some things that God cannot stand.
- God can’t stand sin and disobedience, but because we all disobey, He sent His Son to cover over our sin with His righteousness if we trust in Him.
- There is hope for anyone who would believe.

Lord,
Help us to trust in Jesus so that our sins would be covered.
Work in our hearts by your Holy Spirit to produce love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
