What did We Learn?
- Being in the wrong crowd can lead us into trouble.
- Choosing friends is important, because God made friends to encourage us.
- The wrong sorts of friends can encourage us down a wrong path, while the right sort of friends can encourage us down a right path.
- We will never have perfect friends but we need friends who love Jesus.
- When we surround ourselves with friends who love Jesus, they spur us on to love and serve Him all the more.
Let's Pray
Dear Lord,
Help us to find the kind of friends who love you and want to serve you.
Help us to be good judges of character so that we know which friends will encourage us the right way and not the wrong way.
In Jesus’ Name we pray.
Amen.
