#91: Proverbs 24:13-14 - Follow Jesus' Wisdom
Story summary
When the kids go out on a treasure hunt, Venemous springs into action with another plan to lead them astray. Greybobby and Betty, however, stay the course and follow the wisdom of Proverbs 24:13-14 — follow Jesus’ wisdom.
Proverbs 24:13-14
Eat honey, my son, for it is good;
honey from the comb is sweet to your taste.
Know also that wisdom is like honey for you:
If you find it, there is a future hope for you,
and your hope will not be cut off.

What did We Learn?
- Just like honey, God’s wisdom is a gift that nourishes us—but even more than that, Jesus is the truest source of our hope.
- In Him “are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” (Colossians 2:3), and when we trust in Him, our hope will never be cut off.
- Because of Jesus, even when we mess up, we can still be rescued, forgiven, and guided back to the right path.
- So let’s remember to keep our eyes on Jesus, follow His wisdom, and watch out for snakes in fuzzy disguises.
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Fathe
Thank You for giving us Your Word, which is sweeter than honey and full of wisdo
Thank You for sending Jesus, who is our Savior and the source of true hope.
Help us to listen to Your voice, stay on the right path, and trust You when things are confusing or hard.
And when we mess up, thank You that Your grace always finds us and brings us back.
In Jesus’s name we pray,
Amen.
