Proverbs 7:2-3 - Follow God's Instructions

Proverbs 7:2-3

...keep my commandments and live; keep my teaching as the apple of your eye; bind them on your fingers; write them on the tablet of your heart.

Lesson Summary

  • Our heart wants what it wants so we are to keep truth in front of us at all times.
  • We need the Holy Spirit to write truth on our hearts and help our heart to want to follow that truth.

Prayer

Lord,
Write your truth on our heart.
Help us to overcome our selfishness to do what you are calling us to do.
Let it be the apple of our eye...our focus for all of our days.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
