For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
What Did We Learn?
- We learned that the most important question we can ever ask is this: Who is Jesus?
- And the answer is the most important truth we can ever know: Jesus is God’s Son and our Savior. He is fully God and fully human.
- That means Jesus isn’t just a good teacher or a nice story. He is truly God—powerful enough to save us, and truly human—able to come close to us and stand in our place.
- He came into the world because God loves us, just like we heard in John 3:16, so that anyone who believes in Him will have eternal life.
- We also learned that sometimes God helps us discover the truth by asking questions and leading us step by step. And just like a good gardener, He plants truth in our hearts so it can grow.
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for loving us so much that You sent Your Son, Jesus, to save us.
Thank You that He is fully God and fully human, and that He came close to rescue us from our sin.
Help us to believe in Him, to trust Him, and to follow Him every day.
Plant Your truth deep in our hearts so it will grow and bear good fruit in our lives.
In Jesus' Name we pray,
Amen.
