Story summary

In this devotional, Red and Bart get swept up in the Jungle World Global Games, where people from all nations gather to compete, but not get to know each other. Red reminds everyone that the Bible teaches that Heaven will be filled with people from all nations, and that there is really one people of God and one true King: Jesus.

What Did We Learn?

The Global Games started as a competition between groups that stayed separate from each other. But Red and Bart helped everyone discover something important: even though we come from different places we can gather together around to worship the one true God.
The Bible tells us that one day, people from every nation, tribe, people, and language will stand together before God's throne, worshiping Jesus.
Heaven won't be a place where everyone is the same. It will be a place where God's beautiful creation is united because we all belong to Him.
That reminds us there is really one people of God and one true King: Jesus.

Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for creating a world full of wonderful differences.
Help us to love others who may look different, speak differently, or come from different places.
Teach us to see people the way You see them and remember that everyone who trusts in Jesus is part of Your family.
Thank You for the promise that one day people from every nation, tribe, and language will worship You together.
In Jesus's name we pray,
Amen.
